Louise A. Wagner,
age 67 of Nashua, died Wednesday June 4, 2008, at her
home.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m.
Monday, June 9, 2008, at St. John Lutheran Church in
Nashua with Pastor Elayne Werges and Thomas Hagen
officiating. Troy Stille will sing “In The Garden" and
“The Old Rugged Cross” with the congregation singing ”Amazing Grace"
and “How Great Thou
Art". Organist will be Lisa Wiebke.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery
also in Nashua with Richard Grandy, Donald Bast, LeeRoy
Reuscher, Todd Dietz, William Kunzman and Tom
Kleinschmidt serving as pallbearers. Her grandchildren
will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 6
p.m. Sunday at the Hugeback & Chenoweth Funeral Home
in Nashua and one hour prior to services at the church
on Monday. Memorials may be directed to the
family.
Louise A. Wagner was born July 25,
1940, at Rockford, Iowa, the daughter of Bernard H. and
Gertrude L. (Golly) Losee. She attended school in
Rockford and was in the first graduating class of Rudd -
Rockford - Marble Rock High School in 1959.
She was united in marriage to Kenneth
Paul Wagner on June 10, 1962, at the Methodist Church in
Rockford. The couple then moved to their home in Nashua. To this
union two sons were born. Louise worked as the
bookkeeper for Wagner Sales and Services for 15 years
and started Wagner Crafts in 1995. She had also been a
daycare provider.
Louise was a member of St. John
Lutheran Church, The Iowa Blacksmith Welders Association,
serving as President for two years and also a member of
Nashua - New Hampton Rebecca’s. She enjoyed sewing and
making different crafts.
Louise is survived by her two sons, Paul
(Kathy) Wagner of Nashua and Evan (Heidi) Wagner of
Plainfield; her extended family, Andrea (Brad) Olson of
Osage and Travis (Sheila) Griffith of Marion; eight
grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica, Emily, Nicholas,
Miranda and Tabetha Wagner, Drew and Lexi Miller;
her
extended grandchildren, Drew and Rylie Olson and Cole
Griffith; one sister, Donna Jacobsen of Nora Springs.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth
on April 19, 2006; her parents; four brothers, Paul,
Bernard, Raymond and Burton Losee; two sisters, Twyla
Roskup and Beverly Montgomery.
