of New Hampton, died suddenly Thursday April 24, 2008, at Mercy
Medical Center in New Hampton.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 28,
2008, at Hugeback & Chenoweth Funeral Home, New
Hampton with Deacon Vic De Sloover officiating. Marie
Weber will serve as lector. Chris Carrier will be
the organist and vocalist.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, New Hampton
with Mike Sheehy, Brendan Sheehy, Bryan Sheehy and Jim
Keane as pallbearers.
Friends may greet the family an hour prior to the
services at the funeral home on Monday.
Cheryl Sheehy was born February 8, 1944, the daughter of
Maurice S. and Muriel A. (Weber) Sheehy. She attended
St. Mary’s Grade School in New Hampton and was a 1962
graduate of the New Hampton High School. Cheryl has made
her home at the Heritage Residence for the last 18
years. She loved James Dean movies, being out-and-about
in the community and took great pride in her family. She
will be remembered by her family, friends and the staff
at the Heritage Residence as a very kind and cheerful
person.
Survivors include one brother, Michael (Sandra)
Sheehy; niece, Mackenzie Sheehy; nephew, Brendan Sheehy
all of Hiawatha, IA; three uncles, Joe (Joanne)
Sheehy of New Hampton, Del (Carol) Weber of
Marshalltown, IA and Greg Sheehy of Hinkley, MN;
three aunts, Joan Weber of New Hampton, Clara Mae Kruse
of Monona, IA and Marie Weber of Madison, WI.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
